Replacing the Breaker.

Last January 1, we experienced some electrical problems that led us to cut the power off at one electrical outlet. Three weeks ago, the electricity tripped off again. But this time, only the lights were out. So the same electrician recommended replacing the circuit breakers since it was old, except for the main one, which was replaced a year ago. Those breakers have been there since we moved here 13 years ago, and the house is 20 years old already. Moving forward, we replaced all of the other 6 breakers and so far and hopefully no more tripping.

Our breaker box looks just like that. I believe the wiring from one of the breakers is what needs replaced in the bathroom ceiling but I'm not an electrician so I can't be sure of that. We'll find out in a month when the electrician comes back to work on it. I hope it doesn't take long for them to fix whatever the problem is.

Great news. The tripping has stopped. That happened in our house too. Quite annoying. Our house was built in 1900. So not surprising we had some issues with tripping

No problem with ours. They are there since over 30 years.

We never replaced our breaker box in our previous home, but it was regularly inspected, it was similar to the one in this photo.

That's terrible. Hopefully everything will fine now. I never had to replace them, but I had a light switch replaced one time. I would put new light bulbs in the light fixture and they would burn out as so as I put them in. I called a handyman and he replaced the light switch. It worked after that.

I don't think I need to replace the breakers at my home. They are new However I'll get them checked.

I think the weather has something to do with it too. I've noticed that our air conditioner doesn’t always work that well when it gets really hot, so I’m guessing the high temperatures are affecting how the electrical connection performs.

I guess breakers don't last forever. Hopefully you'll be set for another 20 years now.
