Good morning..... the guests left last night.

Good morning from this side of the planet. . It's 8:20 AM and I am sitting here in my balcony in the fresh breeze enjoying some children and toddlers playing in the swimming pool. I got up at 6:30 after six hours of sleep. Have missed my morning exercise feeling a bit lethargic. We had our niece visiting us yesterday. They live in Dubai and have a two years old twin boy and girl. It was fun to be around those twins the whole day yesterday. They are handful and you need to have lots of energy to be around them. I was totally exhausted yesterday . But they were so much fun. That's the reason I couldn't be here yesterday. They left around 8 in the night to catch up their flight back to Dubai. They are here from last two weeks and they planned to return from here, so that theu could meet us too. I really appreciate their effort to stay connected. It's beautiful morning. I had a walk around my terrace. The heat has taken a toll on the plants. Though the garden is green, I miss the flowers. This is the collage of flowers my garden had in February. Isn't that riot of colours . I really wish that Spring was year around or at least much longer than what it generally stays for. How is weather in your corner? Wishing you happiness and health. Just stay fresh like these flowers in the picture. I wish they always stayed the same way in my garden

Babies give lot of joy but do drain all your energy. Your balcony looks colourful with those lovely flowers.

@arunima25 The babies might have left fond memories. You are right summer heat prevents blooming of flowers. Even my garden flowers have reduced.

@aninditasen They were handful and made us laugh so much. We were tired but thoroughly entertained. I miss those days when my children were like that. I really hope that I will get such days back with my grandchildren after few years. We got some good shower in the last three days. The garden has revived.

Very true! They were fun, we had a good time with them. Two years are full of energy and mischief. Those are some shots from my terrace garden. It was bright and colourful in February. Now, not much blooms due to hot weather.

Lovely flowers. Children are definitely very tiring! We finally are rid of the freezing weather. Have a good day.

@LindaOHio I am fortunate that way. I hate extreme temperatures.. extreme winter is still tolerable, heat makes me feel sick.

Yes, they did all funny things and we could not stop laughing it. They were excited to be at a new place and refused to take nap though they were tired. But then when they got too cranky, my niece had to take them in the room, close the door and make them take a nap. My house was typhoon hit with them exploring everything, but it was worth the fun we got. I am missing these flowers. Now, I get only hibiscus regularly and roses rarely. Wish spring could stay a little longer.

Hibiscus is regular despite the heat, but roses are very few.

@allknowing I never find kids a load. I had two naughty and energetic kids, but that was the best phase of my life. No matter how exhausting it was, I want it back. Those are lovely, bright yellow

All those flowers are beautiful. Do you also eat nasturtiums? They had a nice spicy taste.

Thank you Anna. It was in February, now we hardly have any flowers these days. Hope to get some rain soon. I have never heard of Nasturtium.

Your flowers were beautiful! And young children are always fun, as long as the parents don't stray far so you can give the children back when you get tired. I also prefer spring better than the other seasons even though we can still get deep snows in the springtime here. Most of the time, spring weather is nice, not too hot and not too cold, just right. I hope you're always happy and healthy, too.

Yes, that's the best part about other children, especially the ones who are your grandchildren. You just play and have fun, parents are there for serious business. We used to have spring like weather throughout the year, but unfortunately in the last few years, we can see the impact of global warming here too.

@arunima25 When I was still a child on the farm, we had deep snows here but, as I've gotten older, the snows come less often and aren't as deep. When I started school, there was a snow that was so deep the school buses couldn't take us home again. I remember my older brother carrying me on his back and leading my other brothers and sister the 7 miles home from school. That was a long, cold walk, traipsing home through the knee and then hip deep snow. Snows now are rarely 1 foot deep at their worst and snow plows clear the roads before dawn... A lot has changed over the years.

@DaddyEvil A lot has changed and it is very remarkable and noticeable. And sadly, many of these changes in environment or in social settings are not positive.

It's not a personal pool, we have two big ones with beautiful landscapes around it. One of them is just below our building and I get the beautiful view from two of my balconies and my terrace. It is good entertainment to see those children and families enjoying it.

Thank you. I put the effort throughout the year. Earlier we had pleasant weather throughout the year and I could see some blooms all the time. In the last few years, summer is getting bad here.

Two-year-old twins would certainly take a lot of energy to look after. But, as you say, it's also a lot of fun.

Oh! That's one wish most of us would like to have. We used to have spring like weather throughout the year, but not in recent years. Global warming and climate change has hit us too very hard.
