Whut the hail was THAT????

I remember being in the Richland County Jail in the mid-80s (June 10, 1987) when I was jarred awake from a nap by what I assumed to be a train jumping the Illinois Central track that was maybe 10 meters from the jail and hitting the building, but it was an earthquake instead. What was your strangest jail moment?

No jail moments, but I experienced a pretty strong earthquake in the south of France, the noise was so loud I thought it was dynamite exploding somewhere.

I went to clean the jail cell we had in the security office one Monday…and there was someone in there!!!

lol No jail time here; but I have been through two 5.0 earthquakes.

I got locked in a cell when I was baked and I got a bit claustrophobic and thought they had forgotten all about me and I would die of thirst and I wondered where was the best place to have a dump. I had stumbled into a busy road and the cops bless them thought I would be safer in a cell and they let me go the next morning after giving me.coffee and a donut Edit, no earthquakes.
