Good Morning 4/30

I had to obey the cat this morning and get out of bed whether I wanted to or not. He thinks it is his sworn duty to get mommy out of bed according to her daily schedule. Cat's keep the time, and know what time of the day you typically do certain things and like to let you know when your scheduled time to do things are. It is especially important when mommy is off schedule when it comes to his meal time. Certain things are sacred!

I swear dogs as well as cats can tell time. My dog knows exactly what time my daughter takes her lunch break, dinner time and at 10pm she's sitting at the stairs ready to go up to bed.

Yep, they have an internal clock. Oh that's the other thing, if I stay up too late, Nico wants me to go to bed. I am not allowed to stay up much past 11.

You are right about that,,,but I ignore his 4 AM meowing though. He can wait until 5 at least. If he is hungry he always has food in his dish.

@snowy22315 4 AM is far too early to get up. I used to get up at 5 for Gevi.

Baby made me get up at 4:30 this morning to feed her. I tried to go back to bed, but she wouldn’t stop talking and walking all over me.

Sounds familiar! When N. gets on the bed though it is usually after he stares out of the window for awhile.

I had one pony that would start nudging his feed bin and letting it clunk down if I was a bit late with his meals.

He's happier when I am up and monitoring him. He thinks I need to be in the same room when he eats his chow too..Who knows what is lurking and could steal it? Cats are funny.

Dogs are the same way. They have an uncanny internal clock.
