Aftermath of a lightning strike outside of Chicago just outside my nephew's office. Sis said her area outside of Pittsburgh was hit as well They lost power for 13 hours, but Dusquene power customers elsewhere in the area will lose it for 5 or 6 days .

Yikes! I love watching lightning as long as I'm inside and safe from it. I'm glad we've got power back again now and hope they get it back faster than predicted.

A power outage is no fun. A long one is awful. I guess the only bright side is your electric bill will be less.

Wow that tree really took a strike from that storm. Being without power for 13 hours is hard but 5 or 6 days is really hard.
