Grocery Day

Oh joy. NOT. I have everything ready except me. I will get adult clothes on soon. I do still need to check the lottery tickets. But I haven't heard of any big winners here. It would be nice to win a little bit. My foot feels better this morning. Not as sore as yesterday. It should be good in a couple of days. Not sure what I will do when I get home. Maybe just take it easy. Hope you have a good day.

You mean you were still wearing your nappies when you came online? We'll be going to Walmart when Pretty wakes up and gets ready. We also need to go to the laundromat. I'm out of clean shorts for sleeping in. Pretty brought in one of the large plastic totes from the garage to get some blankets and quilts out of it in case we needed them while we didn't have electricity and found the tote had a slice in it and everything in it was soaked and covered in mud... We'll need to take those to the laundromat, too. I paid the garage this morning for fixing the car and have tried several times to call the local repairman about fixing our washing machine. He's not answering his phone. (Actually, his phone hangs up before it even rings on his end. I don't know what that means.) I hope he's still in business. He's only a six months older than me. (The last time we needed him for anything was when I called him and asked his opinion about what brand of washer/dryer we should buy just before we moved into this house, seven years ago.) I think it just needs a new belt for the agitator but I'm not a repairman so could be mistaken. I hope you're enjoying your day.

Usually wear them all day That stinks. But glad you found it before they were ruined. Hope you get him. It could be messed up from the storms because even shut off it should go to voicemail.

@wolfgirl569 True... now we should probably check the other 17 totes out there to make sure that was the only one with a problem. That's what I'm wondering, too. Pretty did find another local repair company and, if I can't get the guy I know, I'll call them tomorrow.

Keep an eye on your foot. Rusty nails can easily cause an infection.

@JudyEv It is supposed to as it dries. I just liked that it felt good. I was getting dirt from Georges carport and it's very muddy in front of it.

I used to find doing groceries as therapeutic but now that I am pregnant, I considered it as a huge task now. Leading to third trimester has been a bit of a challenge, but the whole pregnancy has been a wonderful journey so far.
