Time and taxes.

I got my tax return completed and submitted today, nine months before it’s due. Normally I let it go right up yo the wire and panic, but this time it’s done and dusted - why didn’t I do this years ago? And it’s so simple now that it can be submitted online. Even simpler since I’m retired and my income is so straightforward. Do you get your taxes done at the earliest possible moment or are you a hopeless procrastinator like me?

Now we're on a pension we don't have to submit a tax return any more.

While I was working, I had my taxes done as soon as my job(s) sent me the tax paperwork I needed to file each year. Now, Pretty does her taxes online and gets the refund back a couple of weeks later.

That must be nice. I haven't paid taxes for several years now. I retired in 2007 or so.

I do them as soon as I receive all the forms from my pension, etc. My husband was a procrastinator; but I am not!!!
