The Raliegh Fire Department answered an emergency call on Saturday morning April 19 to rescue a dog that fell into a storm drain.
A Raliegh firefighter was lowered around 10 to 15 feet down the storm drain with the assistance of other firefighters and animal control employees to rescue the dog and return the animal to its owner safe and sound.

How do these animals get into such trouble I wonder. So many similar stories but good that they get rescued,

It is a good question how the dog fell into the storm drain.

Dogs must run free in that area. No broken bones? That's a long drop.

The dog did not suffer any broken bones from the fall which is a miracle,

That looks to be a large dog in the picture, which I imagine would be rather heavy, and awkward, to remove safely from a storm drain, at such a deepness.

That is true that the dog is huge.
