Where did this cat come from?

A pitch black cat? Had never seen one before. And what is to doing in our house. Cozily sleeping? On closer look I was surprised to see that it is not a cat but my hand towel that had fallen down. What an illusion that was. What do you think?

At least it was a towel, months ago I thought I had dropped a sock in the laundry room, I went to take it up and it was a toad.

@allknowing - No, it was on the floor. I suspect it entered from the small window that had to be left open all the time because of the gas furnace.

As a kid on the farm, we had black cats that stayed in and around our barn... They caught mice and birds that were trying to eat the cattle and horse feed. That is an interesting "cat" sleeping on your floor.

The head doesn't look like a cat, I ever have black cat their tails are always folded when sleeping.
