Rise and shine

I feel better this morning, and I woke before my alarm, of course. I am pretty certain it was the lettuce that has me off. In just a minute I will make some eggs, then I want to get housework done and pack my lunch. After I work at school I am going to plan to go to Hillsboro, to do some banking and thrifting. Ihave not checked today's weather this morning. The last I knew it was to be in the low 70"s and clear. I hope so. Today is trash day, isn't that exciting?! Time to get busy, I guess.

While we're house-sitting, bin day is Wednesday which doesn't help at all with me remembering what day it is! I'm used to bin day being Monday.

I always appreciate trash day since my section of apartments just has one dumpster when we really need two.

It's trash day here, too. I listened to the trash truck around 5:30 am picking up trash all down our street. (I don't hear the truck unless I'm already awake or haven't gone to sleep yet.) I'm glad you're feeling better. I was worried about you. It's 50F and clear here and we're supposed to reach 70F by late this afternoon. I'm thinking I'll go out this morning, as soon as the dew dries and mow part of the yard. Pretty can mow after the battery charges again this afternoon. (We're still only getting 10 minutes of mow time after a full charge. We have to get a new battery or a new mower. We don't have a choice.) I suggested to Pretty that we could go to our friend's Chinese restaurant and get cashew chicken for lunch after her turn at mowing this afternoon. She thought that sounded good, too. I hope you have a good day at work.

@GardenGerty It starts with a K but I can't remember off-hand. I'll have to go to the garage and look. We've had it 5 years. Edit to add: It's a Kobalt.
