I have finished two journal spreads yesterday but I have no time to post. I am sharing the one with the touch of blue. First of, the McSnacker Peanut Butter that we received from my brother all the way from Abu Dhabi. He and his wife did the shopping, I think they started filling the box in November and shipped the boxes in January. It was supposedly a box for Christmas. But I understand they are on budget and told them that they are not obliged to send. But they did. I bought Halo-Halo at Chowking, the famous Chinese food chain here. But the photo of the Halo Halo will be on my next post. On this spread, I have Pepsi, Gatorade, Kraft Mac & Cheese, Pascual Yogurt and Myra Lotion.

That's like the boxes I used to send Pretty when she was away at college in Pennsylvania. I'd get a $10 shipping case from the Post Office. They told me it didn't matter how heavy the box was, as long as it could be sealed for shipping. So I filled the box each month with her favorite soups, new types of candy and small things I thought she'd like or, sometimes, with homemade bread, fudge or brownies and shipped them to her. Once the 'care" packages started arriving, Pretty told me she shared the things I sent with her friends in the same building she was living in. They all watched for the packages and then crowded around her to see what was in them. I'm glad your brother was able to send you stuff, too. I'm sure you enjoyed it all.
