It is always funny when the date has sequential digits like that. Knock on wood, the rain may be over. I didn;t see anything on the radar, and it isn't predicted..although Alexa told me there would be rain. However, this Alexa eco show used to belong to friend, and although it recognizes my voice as it pertains to this location, I think it actually gives the weather for Alexandria where he lives. I have to pay the mortgage today, I would prefer to do it on Friday, but the mortgage company tends to get upset if I pay it too much past the first. I don't know why, they always get their money. I have never missed even one payment in all these years. I find it offensive really.

That is one thing I wouldn't forget to pay. Actually, I rarely forget a bill. I tend to pay the credit cards in advance though.

@LadyDuck I have a few times, luckily I got the late fee waved. I also forgot the electric bill twice. That was crazy..but in all the years I have been paying power bills, I don't think that is too bad.

@snowy22315 - I always pay the credit cards as soon as I receive the bill. I do not think I ever forgot a payment.

Still, I think they should look at someone's payment history before sending out annoying letters

A storm is expected here today. It’s very gloomy.

I can't really pay early because I don't get my statement until late in the month, sometimes it comes on a weekend.

Alexa has a mind of her own. I have one downstairs which gives the weather for the town I live in whereas the one in my bedroom gives the weather for a town nearby.
Doesn't your bank give you a grace period for your mortgage payment if it isn't right on the first?

Yes, you don't get a late fee until after the 15th. I have never paid past the 15th. I suppose anytime after the first is technically a grace period.

I started paying all the bills as soon as I get them so I don't lose one or forget it.

I don't lose mine, as they are all paid online. Except for the mortgage. Not sure if it can be paid online, besides I like the satisfaction of doing it in person.
