Yesterday, I decided to visit Trader Joe's. I hadn't been there in months. I wanted some Lamb Vindaloo, which was a staple of mine for many years. While roaming the aisles, I came across "Just Mango," which had been another staple of mine. It is simply packaged dried mango. Tart and yummy. I snapped some up.
I also checked the price of eggs, as I had heard that they were less expensive at TJ's, than at Safeway. Yep, they were only $5.99, which is the lowest price I have seen in quite awhile. Eggs are NOT down 87 per cent here in California.
Do you have favorite snacky food? I am going to grab another slice of dried mango right now. Yum!

For a dozen (12) eggs. What you paid is a good price by current American standards. Our current president claimed that eggs are down 93 per cent in the US under his watch, but but I do not trust what he says. That would be about 70 cents a dozen, and I have not seen prices like that.

@wolfgirl569 My philosophical question of the morning: If one knows next to nothing, and makes up facts and figures on the fly, are they lying? Of just blithering/blathering?

Eggs here are $3.92 a dozen or $5.82 for an 18 pack, which is what we normally buy. Eggs aren't down 87% in Missouri, either.
I like fresh mango but am not fond of dried mango. I don't eat mango very often either way. I do like dried bananas or dried apples, though.

@TheHorse I'm positive that myLotter is mistaken about the price of eggs. There are a lot of egg barns here and if they're still that high, I can't imagine them being cheaper in Florida.

I do have a favorite snacky food but the censor says I can't talk about it here.

I order my groceries on Saturday and was glad to see I could get 18 eggs for $5.82. I never had a mango. I order on a tight budget but treat myself to Hostess cupcakes, ice cream sandwiches, and potato chips,

I have a lot of favorites. I try not to keep snack foods in the house or I will eat them. I used to buy dried apricots. They are yummy. I LOVE nuts; but they have a bad effect on me if I eat too many....and I always eat too many.
