The house next door to my Mom was sold a few months ago and the new owners have been round several times to introduce themselves and keep Mom up to date with building work which started a couple of weeks ago.
So far they have just been knocking down walls .....the actual building wasn't due to start yet.
Yesturday morning several trucks came with so much building stuff you would have thought it was for all the street not just one house !
Anyway, just as we were told it had been delivered way too early and this morning the trucks came back and took it all away again !

I hope the new people don't get charged for the extra freight. It's nice that they're keeping your mother up-to-date with what's going on.

It seems that someone sort of got ahead of the game there. At least they took it away, so it won't be stolen or just left sitting there, that's good.

There has been a construction crew working on the house next door to us for a couple of months. They ripped most of the insides out of the house after another crew put a new roof on it. There were several trailers full of building materials delivering a couple of weeks ago. Now, there's another trailer parked in the driveway that the guys are loading down with scrap materials from the work they're doing.
My daughter and I talked with them a few days ago about doing some work around our house when they get done over there. They'll get us estimates for the work we asked about.
