So, my upcoming electric bill is even less than the previous one. It is projected to be 66 dollars! Woohoo! That is really good news. Typically the power bill here is the next largest bill here other than the mortgage. Having a low one is music to my ears

@snowy22315 - No that is free because they switched the existing contract from the previous tenant to us.

@snowy22315 If the rates have gone up and still your bill is down seems you have used less electricity

We just got our water bill and somehow it's in credit. I think the government gave rebates to pensioners for power and water.

No heat or AC, nothing like that was needed. However, it may be over, I think it will become hot next week.

@snowy22315 We don't have AC either. Fans are enough for us. My monthly bill never goes over INR 500. I don't know how many USD it means..

My bill is never low, unfortunately. The windows and door let air in like nobody’s business. I remember someone on here saying why don’t you just tell the apartment complex to fix it. Uh yeah, next thing I’ll do is ask for is a front door that fits the frame. Oh, brother. But that low a bill IS exciting! It’s definitely worth being happy about, and I’m glad you are.

I am..Can't you put in some window caulking, weather stripping or plastic sheeting or something? Maybe your bro in law would do it for you. It would probably approved if you explain why you are doing it

I think I would scream if my power bill went below one hundred. My utility bill is in one bundle so I pay for power and water in one not small chunk.
