Thanks to the teamwork of the Grand Junction Colorado Fire Department, animal control officers and eyewitness with a heart of compassion who worked together to rescue a kitten that was trapped underneath a storm drain on Wednesday.
The teamwork of the persons was successful in getting the kitten out of the bottom of the storm drain safely.
The kitten was in good spirits when the animal control officials took the kitten to a local animal hospital to be checked out by a veterinarian and be placed for adoption.

Just look at that face. It says Why me? And I would also like to know why all these different cats are falling into storm drains, It's like the saying raining cats and dogs and these cats are raining down into storm drains

It could be that the cats fall into storm drains out of being curious.

Ahh, poor little fellow. He doesn't look happy. Reminds me of our Colbert. He is the vocal one of our five cats. Grumpy.

The kitten in the image does look depressed that he or she was in trouble.
