Long Day

But it's been a good one. Lunch was wonderful. We went to the Chinese buffet. They always have good food.
I had about an hour after we got home before I left again. That gave the dogs time to go potty. And thankfully Patch border collie stayed out of the water. She was confused when I wouldn't let her back out with the dobermans. But very happy when I got her harness and leash out. I had to let the harness out. If she gains anymore it won't fit her. Then I will start using Bambis old collar. Patch weighs 58 pounds now. She was a good girl except for snapping at one dog. And that wasn't bad as it shoved it's face into hers. Idiot owners didn't have it on a leash. And it definitely wasn't trained to be off leash. I bought her a treat when we were done.
I mowed until all 7 of my batteries were dead. The mower uses 2 at a time. The last one I put in the weed whacker. But I got a lot done. I will do more tomorrow. Once I get it all caught up I will be able to do it all in one round.

She would have bit that dog if I didn't have the muzzle on her. Kind of wish I hadn't. I do keep it loose enough to pull off if I have to.

Nice to hear that you are having a good day. My day is fine as well. I am quite a big help to my daughter finishing her laundry in her apartment on Mother's Day.

Patch is getting to be a big girl!
I snap at people who get in my face, too. Can't blame her for that!
We had heavy dew this morning and, with the cloudy sky today, it never really dried up. I checked it twice this afternoon and then gave up. There is still that strip across the front of the house and a strip in the back that needs to be cut down.

@wolfgirl569 I'm giving the grass the third cut this time around. It's already needing cut again after all the rains we've had. The back and that strip across the front are getting the second cut...

To big.
I didn't. They did get that one leashed then. But it would have been bit if I didn't have a muzzle. Hope they think about that.
The grass was damp down in just because of how tall it keeps getting from the rains

I hope the batteries allow you to get everything done in a logical manner. It’d be awful if half your lawn was freshly cut and the other half was a jungle…and by the time the batteries recharged, the look changed sides!

The rain is the problem. About the time I get the trimming caught up it rains and we have to wait and wait to mow. Then the whole jungle is back again.
