I can hear thunder nearby.

It seems that tomorrow we´ll have rain again. I can hear thunder in the nearby Andes mountains.
But I´m warm and cozy here at home. And little by little I´m eating better. The Mayo Clinic for diverticulitis means eating 6 small meals each day at this moment. I still have a hard boiled egg, half a potato an a meat ball for tonight.
Do you follow diets when you are ill? I am, specially after that horrible stomach ache.
I´ll go now to your posts.

I'm glad the Mayo Clinic diet is helping you feel better. I wasn't as ill as you are/were with diverticulitis. I only drank a liquid diet for a few days and then switched to soft foods and then back to my regular diet...
I hope the rains down lower the temps there too much too quickly.

Due to being pre-diabetic, I cannot eat foods with sugar or drinks with sugar.

When I had 8 days of diarrhea I ate rice and bananas as instructed. That didn't help. I'm glad you are eating better.

Happy Mother's Day.
Yes; following diet when you are ill is necessary. It helps you heal soon.
Here we have no signs of rain. Temperature is going up.
