It is not like what it used to be We hardly meet, nor send messages nor talk on the phone
One of my nieces thought of inviting whoever could come for a get together. Many agreed. I could not but some visited me at my home
And all those who visited me I had not seen in years - very close relatives
And this photo tha tyou see is of the group that came for that get together
They are all in that frame and they will remain there - they will never meet again nor will they meet singly - a sad story indeed

This constitutes around 80%, Some did not turn up. The sad part is they I notice are only interested in parties.
After that Meet I sent this message to every one but no one responded

@allknowing My family wouldn't have responded to a message like that, either. Not that my family only responded to parties but they all have other things they preferred to do.

I only know my grandmother's side of the family. I don't know my father's side of the family, or my grandfather's side. But the whole family on my grandmother's side usually meets at Christmas. But we do have get-togethers on other holidays. The next holiday we have a get-together is on July 4th (Independence Day).

@allknowing My great-aunt and great-uncle live across the street so I sometimes go over there. And when my cousin (their daughter) go to visit them, I go over to see them. I did that about a week ago. I had some questions to ask my cousin and we ended up going dress shopping.

Or maybe.they have been out off of family gatherings due to squabbles and fights at previous get together
Happens a lot.
