Do you know anybody who is always wearing the same outfit everytime you see them?

I am guilty of wearing the same jeans most of the time, not all when I go out when the weather is cool, but I do vary the tops. This one friend of mine wears the exact same outfit as far as I can tell. I don't think she is that poor, that she can only afford one outfit. She just went to Australia as a matter of fact, so they have money coming from somewhere, She also orders a lot of expensive vegan foods. She seems to spare no expense on those. I think her weight has fluctuated so maybe these are her fat clothes and she got rid of the others I don't know. It just seems strange. Well, I guess she may be a bit strange, but I like her. She is very nice.

My guess is your guess, that is has to do with her weight. It may be the only outfit she feels good in because of her weight.
My dad used to do that with my mom when she had dementia, although obviously the reasons are different from your friends.My mom had a closet full of clothes, but he would dress her in the same outfit every day. Wash ithe outfit, dress her in it, and repeat. I actually had a couple people who were around them comment to me about it, and I asked them to refrain from my mentioning to my dad. Because I eventually understood. He was doing all he could to put one foot in front of the other. Get her up, brush her teeth, bathe her, dress her. Day after day. His sole focus was to keep going, one day at a time. He couldn’t break the routine that kept him hanging on; obviously it was psychological, and I understood.

@snowy22315 I wonder if everyone has their “fat clothes”. Lord knows I’ve even heard skinny people refer to having fat clothes.

however, I think it is more common to hold onto "skinny clothes." I sure have some of them. It would be amazing if I could wear all the clothes in my closet. That would be a dream come true...but sadly, it would be amazing if I could psyche myself up into being able to do that.don't really see it, gotta focus in it more

Oh this is me.
Black bikers jacket
Black Jeans
Black boots.
Every day.
Only thing that ever differs are my pants socks and shirt underneath lol
I have 2 pairs of black jeans so when 1 pair gets washed I have the other pair to wear

Even at home dress code is the same
Sometimes I wear my jeans inside my boots and sometimes.outside.my boots
Depends which black boots I put on
Almost forgot, my bike gloves are black leather.

My mother wears her painter clothes just about everywhere we go. She claims she doesn't have any clothes, but she has alot of clothes in one closet that she refuses to go through.

Hmm, maybe you will need to say things like "That blue blouse would look really nice on you..etc "Maybe that will motivate her to dig into the closet a bit more

Who knows? Sometimes you think people are wearing the same clothing but it turns out they have a few pair of pants or T shirt in the same color.

All I know was she said that she had lost a bunch of weight, and gained it back because they had been in a car wreck and she was severely concussed. I think she is feeling better now though. This was a couple of years ago, and is trying to lose again.

Everybody has their favorite things..but there is a limit I think. I guess when she is at home she wears casual clothes..the outfit I see her in is kind of dressy.
