My neighbors and I, who are using the ISP, almost went berserk over on-and-off struggles with the internet. Some 3 weeks ago, they changed my modem since my son noticed that the internet speed was almost always slow to non-existent at night. I thought this would solve the problem, but after a few days, it went on and off until finally, we lost the signal. An outage was declared in our area and we waited several hours to a day for them to fix it. Finally, the past two days it has been stable. But I am looking at options with other providers.
ISP here is terrible, slow service, sometimes they have no signal or no facilities near us.

I hope they either figure out what is causing the problems or you can find a better service provider. Good luck with it!

I hope this will change in the coming months. We have the worst internet in the world, that's for sure.

It sounds incredibly frustrating dealing with an unreliable internet connection, especially when you're depending on it for work or daily tasks. It’s interesting that you mentioned the very hot days we’ve been experiencing—extreme temperatures can indeed affect internet services. Heat can cause equipment to overheat, which may lead to slower speeds, intermittent connections, or even complete outages. Modems, routers, and other network equipment, when exposed to high heat, can malfunction or throttle performance to prevent damage. Additionally, outdoor equipment like fiber optic lines or cell towers can experience interference from extreme weather conditions.
Another factor could be network congestion, especially during peak hours like at night. If there are many users in your area, your ISP might not have sufficient infrastructure to handle the increased demand, causing slower speeds or drops in service. Some ISPs also face maintenance issues or underinvestment in infrastructure, particularly in areas where they may not have upgraded their facilities in a while.
Looking at options with other providers is definitely a good idea, especially if you’re consistently experiencing poor service. It’s important to weigh the reliability and customer service of potential providers as well, since a change might solve the issue temporarily but could lead to more frustrations if their service is just as unreliable.
I hope your internet stabilizes soon, and that you find a better solution moving forward!

That is no good. It might be worth it to get better internet even if you have to pay a bit more.
