Spring Cleaning For Sure

Oh, my goodness. When my grand son took some boxes out of my closet I had forgotten what some had in them. Writing, letters, all manner of stuff. Then the worker happened to open my daughter's. Oh, yeah. Time for some spring cleaning. And, we had to pile some stuff downstairs and we need to go through all that.
It's tough ya know with and ole hippie gal who likes to save some nostalgia, and a daughter who doesn't seem to get the concept of " I probably won't wear that again". And my grandson the pack rat. All in a small three bedroom apartment. So, yeah heavy duty spring clean up. The nonprofit that takes clothes is going to get a huge donation in a couple of weeks/ months.

I have a huge decluttering and downsizing project to do. Just getting rid of all my husband's clothing will be a job. Every room is packed; and I also have a huge basement and 2-car garage.

When I lived with my mom in NYC that apartment was small and had one closet with many shelves where my mom stored many things, Each year we needed to take one day and clean it all out and then she could start again,

Spring cleaning is such fun.
We did a declutter 5 years ago.
It worked wonders and mostly we have stated clutter free.
And now we buy less stuff .
