Went camping over the weekend

I got out this past weekend and did a little camping, I stayed close to home but just wanted to get out and relax and recharge my batteries. It helps me get away from it all and just connect with nature, it’s good for me mentally. I know some people like to just stay home and maybe read a book or something, for me it is getting out there in the fresh air and enjoying being out there alone. The weather was nice, not too hot and not too cold and no rain so that was a good thing. I was able to just enjoy being out there. When you need a mental recharge do you have a go to thing you do? When you feel the stress of life building do you have a sure-fire way to deal with it?

Camping is our main go-to as well. Although we "glamp" it with the camper. lol

Yeah, lots of people do the camper now. I still like the tent.

I'm one of those people who just enjoy a good book. I love nature but not if there are mosquitos and ants... You can keep those. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself.

@Bensen32 You're welcome. Mosquitos ignore repellents around my daughter and I and try to carry us away... It's better for us to just stay inside where they can't get to us. (We have O- blood and that's their favorite type.)

LOL, Thank you. I'm not a fan of the mosquitos either, I light up a couple of those candles that keep them away and use repellent spray so it mostly works.

So glad to hear that your camping trip went well. I would like to go camping again this summer but my wife now prefers the luxury of the static caravan holiday we are enjoying just now. We used to load the motorbike up and go camping for months Well, my wife wanted to try glamping and liked that so much we did it last year And she wanted to try a caravan holiday so we did that twice last year. This year we have glamped and caravanned. I posted about them both on here. This is our second vacation in 3 weeks. We were on holiday glamping, went home for a week and then booked this caravan. We go home on Friday

Sounds like a good time, hope you're enjoying it. One day I might get a camper, I'm not getting younger and my back doesn't like me sleeping on the ground.
