Deputies with the Manatee County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) answered an emergency call on Tuesday April 22 when a gator was seen outside of the Parrish Community High School in Parrish Florida.
The gator had gotten out of a body of water outside of the high school grounds when at least five deputies managed to capture the animal by roping and taping the gator so they could take the gator away from school grounds to a body of water away from the school grounds.

I am in agreement with you that the gator was caught humanely.

That's a dangerous job, roping an alligator, and it was good that it was done without mishap.

Me to since I believe that there is a law against killing alligators in Florida unless it is in self defense.
