Blocking is common here. But what comes to my mind is after a while may be a couple of years or so do you think one remmebers the reason why one is blocked? I really do not remember whoever I blocked why I did that and vice versa Have you ever felt the urge to unblock anyone or have felt that whoever has blocked you would unblock you?

I have always been against the block button. This is a discussion site, we are here to interact and discuss and we can report those who are offensive. I do not believe I have still users blocked here. I have been blocked by someone over a misunderstanding, that is really ridiculous. Not my loss.

I totally agree with you Anna. It's a discussion site and all of us are here to talk about something. It's another thing if we like the discussion or any comment. And really yes, it's not our loss

@allknowing The system should "unblock" all the blocked users. Some block by mistake and they do not even know

I've not blocked even a single person here yet. Let alone thinking that blocking is common here. I don't know why I should block someone. If I don't feel like talking to anyone or feel like someone is too loud, I just ignore them. That's so simple.

Kind of but they have the same personality so nothing has really changed. One person is unblocked because he keeps changing names. I don't care. I don't dislike him. I just don't particularly like him.

I have never blocked anyone, but I have been blocked by at least 2 people that I know of. They are still visible to me, but I can’t comment on the posts. I’ve no idea if they can still see what I post, but I’d hope not. Like others have said: what is the point of blocking?

If someone irritates me enough for me to block them, I guarantee I can tell you the reason they're blocked for YEARS afterward. I've blocked and unblocked vanny several times. If someone blocks me, that's their problem... *shrug*

Blocking and unblocking is where one likes the user but temporarily gets pissed off

I have never blocked anyone. I would just avoid anyone that is unpleasant.

Except a couple of extreme cases I don't block. I just avoid their posts and don't respond if they comment on mine
