Do You Have One in Your State?

I was reading about this and have never heard of them before. There are many cat cafes all over now, but have you heard of any dog bars? In Meridian, which is a small town near Boise, a new establishment came up recently. It is the Pup and Ale Bar. Where you can take your dog to enjoy the 60,000 square foot running area while you enjoy a drink,or even have lunch. They even have people to watch the dogs. I have never heard of a dog bar and it advertises as the first in Idaho. I bet the drinks and food are very expensive.

I've never heard of this. I wonder how many dog fights there are.
Edit: Haha, I just read @DaddyEvil's response. We both had the same thought about dog fights.

@DaddyEvil .......I would hope that people would be responsible and not take their dogs there if they are known to be aggressive.

I've never heard of one of those before. I bet their insurance is high. I wonder how many dog fights they've had there already?

@celticeagle Hasn't yet. It's been closed for four or five years now. I really wish it would, and I know who would be coming home with a cat

This is the first time I have heard about dog bars. I don't have a dog bar in my state, nor d oi I have a dog as my pet.

I’ve heard of both! I’ve been to a cat café once or twice, but never to a dog café or bar—mainly because I don’t have a dog. The cat cafés were a lot of fun though! Super relaxing, especially if you love cats. It’s nice just sitting there with a drink while adorable cats roam around, curl up next to you, or hop on your lap. You can feed them too, they give you treats for the cats. Such a cozy, feel-good experience!

There are two in Scotland that I know of.
And indeed they are very expensive to eat and drink in, and you need to book your slot in advance.
I predict they will be out of business very soon - people did t need them before and they won't need them again after the novelty wears off
