Are you doing anything for Memorial Day?

Most of the weekend might be dull, but on Monday I am going to go to a vegetarian potluck near the city in my favorite burb. I can probably get there in 40 minutes. I just hope it is a nice day..as it is outdoors in a park with a picnic shelter. One thing I know is it is probably not going to be too hot. They said in the weather the temps will be below average thru June 2. Any mem or weekend plans!

Yes, staying home. I am not big on traveling on holiday weekends. My niece is spending the night with me the last day of May so I’ll have to clean house for her.

@FourWalls They had River Rock a big festival on the James river last weekend, but didn't hear much abou it tas the water was just below flood stage. They didn't cancel it, but I don't think many people attended.

@snowy22315 — our semi-annual “Hike, Bike, and Paddle” citywide fitness event is on Memorial Day, but I rarely get up early enough to attend it.
