I like the way it looks. The gargoyle is already on guard. I will keep an eye out for some more things to add to that area. Maybe at the community yard sales next month. The shingles should keep stuff from growing. And they will be easy to sweep off if needed. I also have part of the front done and hubby pulled the poison ivy for me. So depending on the weather I will work on it after the auction tomorrow.
We never had any storms today but the breeze is starting to feel very cool like it might sometime. At least it let me work all day.

And that clump of weeds is getting to stay there? 
At least you did put shingles down so it looks much nicer there. I hope you find some more ceramic or concrete things to add to the area.
