I need an entire meadow

I hope the photo comes through and shows the foxglove flower that I stuck in a front yard tub. It's opening flowers remind me of orchids. I have seen these flowers growing on the side of the road. I've never grown one or gotten so close. We had sunshine earlier but now gray clouds are coming in. I have done some front porch sitting. I am working on a short story. This time around I am slowly finding ways to edit as I go- that is not always a good idea but for now it's working. What I thought was toward the end maybe more toward the middle. Fun times. Earlier I did a quick planting of a large purple petunia, a snapdragon and a marigold. Wow my gardening buddy gave me generous gifts. Thanks to her this property is blooming all over. I'm loving it.

@dfollin Thanks. I'm thinking about maybe getting more but foxglove is dangerous if an animal bites it.

@dfollin The foxglove is where digitalis comes from. That regulates the heart and of course, the wrong dose and you're in trouble.

My iris are finishing off, and I am in between bloomers. Maybe I should buy some.

I always think it's better to find someone else to do the editing on a book or manuscript. It's too easy for the author to read the right words in because that's what their brain tells them it says on that page when someone else will see what's really written there. I'm glad you're getting plenty of blooms in your yard.
