Florida woman hits a bear with a bag of cookies after a close enconter

Kristen Savage who is a resident of Longwood Florida was walking with her male dog Ringo who is a small mixed breed chihuahua walking back to her home on Friday 25 when she had a close encounter with a black bear who approached her since the bear was hungry. Kristen is lucky that the black bear did not harm her dog or herself during the short time that they had meeting each other when Kristen who had a bag of cookies on her possession that she used to hit the bear on its head before Kristen hurled the bag of cookies at the bear when the bear fled the area on Friday evening. Kristen only suffered a small scrape on her leg when she fell to the ground while she was protecting her dog from being attacked by the bear. Otherwise Kristen and her dog are okay.
