Cold Day

With the rain and wind it felt chilly all day. It was nice to get back home. The furnace has been kicking on today.
I finally got a cherry tomato plant. I also got some pentas flowers. They are supposed to attract butterflies and hummingbirds. They are pretty. I am going to put some in a hanging basket. Not sure where I will put the rest yet. Maybe a couple of more baskets and take them back to the auction. I bought 2 boxes of cereal for 5 dollars too. I won't need to put that on the list for a little bit.
We played euchre tonight. Each team won 2 games. So it was a good night there.

It will not get out of the low 60's tomorrow with the rain. I am going to wear jeans. I have been in shorts everyday. I saw hanging baskets at the grocery for 9.99. They were a good price. I may get one later this week.

Yes, ours are as well. But I did turn my furnace off weeks ago, and I hope not to have to turn it back on. The house is pretty tight, so it maintains a decent temperature unless it gets super cold outside, so it's fine so far. It's just nice not to have to run the heat, or the AC either one.

It was cloudy and windy today but we did reach 71F by late this afternoon. Then it started raining...
I went to sleep around 2 pm and woke up this evening around 11 pm. I was tired.
We have a meeting tomorrow afternoon here at the house. It's a once yearly meeting and should go smoothly.

@wolfgirl569 It's 65F outside and the house is the same temp. I was cold in my bedroom so just turned on the heat. It's okay for that temp if I'm up and moving around but cold if I'm in bed and sleeping or playing online.
Thanks. I was surprised I slept that long yesterday. Pretty didn't even wake me up to sign that she'd done her afternoon work around the house. She said our internet was slow and she couldn't sign in to work so I'll need to call the supervisor and tell her Pretty did her work so she gets paid.

It got muggy, but thankfully not too bad, so the severe weather stayed well south of us. It’s not supposed to get above 70 again for a week. Winter? You’re drunk. Go home.

Winter does need to leave. They are talking possible white crap up here now. So I need to cover stuff the next couple of nights. This is tiring
