Going to make a lemon pound cake for my neighbor

No not THAT neighbor. A young woman moved into the apartment directly across from me up here a few years ago. Her boyfriend started coming around and eventually he moved in. He was pretty rude to me at first which I thought was strange because he got along well with the other people up here. Over time he has become friendlier (though not particularly friendly) and will say hi and chat for a couple of minutes when we cross paths. He saw me just about to have a meltdown the other morning as I was trying to go to work and my car wouldn't unlock. I couldn't get the key fob open to get the actual key out. He offered to do it and was successful so I was able to get to work. He said it was probably the battery in the key fob which I did just change in September but that I changed again yesterday morning. Sure enough that did the trick. Sooooo I am going to make a lemon pound cake for him as a thank you for helping me out. I have all of the ingredients on hand, it is easy to do, and it is always a big hit.
