Or something similar?
I have only a water filter and that is it.
I don't even have one of those foil warming blankets.
I forget what the exact name of the material is. Oh yeah mylar, is it?
But are you ready to survive in the wilderness if necessary?
The reason I am thinking of this, is that I am watching a film here called The Wandering.
Its post apocalyptic..really cool Mad Max vibe only in Ireland.
I remember giving my son all survival tools when he was just a child and showing him how to use them, just in case.
A man only has a short time to make an impact..The Wandering

I think that I can live in the wild for days if I can look for a clean river, food and I have survival things with me like bottled water, a few clothes, plastic bag and a towel in my backpack.

@RebeccasFarm I like to think we are. I know when we're doing 'projects' I'm often the one with the nifty ideas to get around a problem.

I do not. Each class room at school has some form of one, though. We take them if we leave the building, even for fire and tornado drills.

No. Anything that most would think of as extra is something we use. So, no bug-out kit. I don't think I'd live long out in the wilderness. I need water and place to lay down.

@RebeccasFarm ........I hope I don't live to see it and that my kids are strong enough to make it through.

I do not have any kit for living in the wilderness. I just had Swiss Army knives from Victorinox. Perhaps bottled water and some dried foods/snacks can enable me to survive for a few days.

Never had any such experience and would not want it either.

We have enough food and ways to cook the food if we had to just to survive.
We have a portable gas grill.
But as 'prepared' as I feel we could be, it would totally be my luck that my cellphone isn't charged.
But of course I can charge it in my car.

I will stay in my four walls where i know everything and the only wildlife are the squirrels and the opossum on my porch and the occasional palm tree rat,
