I found out some sad news yesterday, although if I am being honest I feel neutral about it. It's my ex. I don't think we have talked at all since my son has been grown..maybe once or twice. However, he lives less than a mile from friend and they talk semi regularly. How weird is that? It kind of gives me the creeps. Anyway, I found out yesterday he has broken his leg in two places and is having surgery today. Wish him luck! What a horrible thing to happen.

Yes, not sure he has had it yet. Will find out more later I guess.

@LadyDuck No its not. It really hurts for quite awhile after you break a bone as well. I think he is going to be one uncomfortable guy for a few weeks at least. It should gradually get better.

Nope, he will be struggling for awhile. I was reading too that after you break your leg, you need physical therapy as well. That won't be fun.

I don't know. They aren't simple fractures, why surgery is required. I just hope he heals as quickly as possible.

I am certain it is no fun. I just hope he has somebody to take care of him at least initially.

Yes, I hope so Supposedly it takes months to recover from a broken leg. At least he is in an area where he can easily get services. I hope he stays with his GF though. He will probably need quite a bit of help at least initially

I hope so. He hasn't had his surgery yet Won't be until tomorrow apparently

If it was me, I would probably have to go into a rehab place temporarily. Needless to say, I am pretty darn careful what I am doing.
