My buddy @AmbiePam 's post about songs that would make you feel like you were in hell got me to thinking about concerts that I've been to. I used to go to several a year though I haven't been to any in several years. The person I've seen most in concert is/was Jimmy Buffett and his Coral Reefer Band. I saw them at least 15 times but the true number is actually probably closer to 20. It was always a good time but it got to the point where I was seeing basically the same show over and over. That in and of itself wasn't a huge issue but the long drive to and from Camden to see him was. I also saw him a couple of times at Convention Hall in Atlantic City (boring crowd) and once at Madison Square Garden. (it was weird to see that he had a teleprompter with the song lyrics displayed) Eventually we stopped going and I would just listen to the concerts on Sirius/XM's Radio Margaritaville channel as they would broadcast them live. My cousin and I had said that we wanted to see him again back when it was clear that he was struggling with his health but unfortunately we never had the opportunity to do that. The second performer that I've seen the most is/was Toby Keith. I wasn't into country music and didn't know any of his songs the first time I went to a show but my whole family was going and they had an extra ticket so I went along. I didn't love that first show because I didn't know any of the songs but then I started listening to him and saw him a solid 10 times at least after that. . . including his Incognito Bandito performance in NYC. The only 3 other performers/groups that I remember seeing more than once are Madonna, U2, and Zac Brown Band. I've seen Madonna 3 times (Blonde Ambition and The Confessions Tour x2) and U2 twice (Elevation tour and Vertigo tour). Zac Brown I've seen at least 3 times though one performance was as an opener for Kenny Chesney. I've seen lots of other groups/performers though only once. Off the top of my head they include: --Fugees --Violet Femmes --Kiss --Red Hot Chili Peppers --Tom Petty --Rod Stewart --Kenny Chesney --Billy Currington --The Cardigans --Blues Traveler --Catatonia --Stone Temple Pilots --Barenaked Ladies (oops saw them twice) --Ani DiFranco --Dave Matthews Band --Jimmy Page & the Black Crowes --James Taylor --Phish --Pearl Jam I'm sure there a ton more that I am forgetting. Like I said I haven't been to a concert in several years. These days I'd like to see Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen, and Jelly Roll. Who have you seen the most? Who do you want to see next?

I've seen Bob Dylan a lot over the last 50 years. He comes to Scotland a lot. And I have seen him in England as well a couple of times I would like to see The Rolling Stones again. Even at the advanced age Keith and Mick and Ronnie are, they are still the greatest rock and roll band ever

I have only been to a small fraction of concerts compared to you. I've seen Bob Seger 3 times, REO Speedwagon, Mitch Ryder, Loverboy and Bryan Adams. I would have loved to have seen Elton John, although that ship has sailed, and I would have liked to have gone to the farewell tour that Bob Seger did, but otherwise I don't really aspire to taking in any concerts in the future.

I've been to three concerts in my life... I was taken to see Dolly Parton, Kenny Chesney and I can't remember who the other guy was... I don't listen to music but they all had a nice stage personality and I did enjoy myself otherwise. *shrug*

Never really had anyone to go to concerts with and never could afford it. One and only concert I ever went to was with my high school best friend to see our teen idol David Cassidy and that was in the 1970s.

Wow! I'm very impressed. I don't think I've seen any big names but in his late teens Vince saw Bob Dylan and Roy Orbison was the support act! When Roy had finished the crowd wouldn't let him go, and in the end the organisers just had to bring on Bob Dylan then they all settled down.
