Just can't get enough cat photos, right? I forgot it was a holiday today though I am more than appreciative of people like my brother Ken who was a Viet Nam Vet.
I got up this morning to realize that we'd had a surprise night rain. That meant I didn't have to water today. No boo hoos from me.
I took some flower photos and shared them with daughter. She wasn't working today so she chatted via email with me more than usual. She showed me some parts of her sketch books and I showed her flowers from my garden. Sweet online chatting.
By the way. that's Peter in the photo. He was hanging out on the table underneath our smallest apple tree.

I didn't realize this was a holiday weekend until people on myLot told me. I lose track of the days of the week, let alone what holidays are approaching.

@DaddyEvil This particular holiday is one I don't do anything for so yes to forgetting about it. My nearest neighbor was Barbecuing on his back deck.

@sallypup I gave away two barbecue grills. I always burned myself barbecuing so I gave up. I'll just bake meat in the oven covered in barbecue sauce instead.

@DaddyEvil We're really going the vegetarian route so not sure what we'd grill. I guess potatoes and Impossible burgers?

@wolfgirl569 Thank you. Snowshoe Siamese are really something to see. I doubt he is purebred but enough Siamese shows through.
