Maybe we need 'goat parks'

Rakski (@rakski) wrote about Paw Parks being available at some malls. People can bring their pets to play with other pets. I think that’s what it’s all about. She said she hadn’t see any cats which is pretty understandable. I’ve always wanted to go to one of those bookstores where there are a lot of cats. But that’s a bit different as you don’t take your own cat but interact with the resident ones. Some sort of shop/store full of little goats would be fun but they’d create havoc with any products that might be on show or for sale as they’d be playing on everything and/or chewing everything. The photo shows three ladies at my nephew’s place enjoying the attention of a bundle of little Nigerian dwarf kids.

@judyev if I had a bigger garden and didn’t travel as much I’d definitely have a few goats for my own entertainment.

That picture is so cute. I would not mind visiting those parks and have a kid on my lap

In Japan they and South Korea, they have cafes that have dogs, cats and piglets that one can pet and play with while you are there.

@JudyEv - My daughter who lives in Napa, California raises goats, and they are so cute! They have a large piece of property, and the goats help keep the wild grasses from growing too tall. Goats are often used here in Southern California to get rid of excess growth on the sides of hills, to help prevent wildfires. They are very useful animals, and adorable!

@JudyEv - Yes, goats are perfect for doing that. If you ever visit Laguna Beach, California in the summer, it is not unusual to see goat herders and their goats on the hillsides. It is a treat to see them between all those million dollar homes!

That's interesting. I had a goat as a pet and she was just the best pet imaginable. The little Nigerian dwarf kids are especially cute. I've heard before of them being used to keep weeks and scrub in order.

I recall that goats enjoy headbutting each other and just about anything else. A surprise for the wee ones!

The bucks aren't to be messed with but that goes for the males of a few species. The kids are just gorgeous.

But we can at least do goat yoga! Can’t bring your own goat, but hey, at least there are goats!

They make lovely pets but they seem as though they have to chew everything.

Those ladies look like they're having a good time with the goats. I've seen people doing goat yoga (on tv) but I don't think I could concentrate on yoga if a goat was climbing on my back Those cat cafes do look like they would be fun

Goats always seem to want to jump and climb. My son's goats jumped all over his car which wasn't quite so funny.

Can see from the photo the ladies are having fun with the goats. Goats as pets are not that common here. They are lovely.

They do make lovely pets. Hopefully these will go to good homes either as stud goats or as pets.
