Good morning friends.
Even though I´m sore all over from my fall, I feel happy now that the diverticulitis is over.
There are ailments and ailments. Now that I´m old I don´t fear death but I dread pain. And diverticulitis meant a lot of pain.
Pain and being sore are different things.Now I change my possition in my bed and take another spoonful of orange cake.
And later on, I´ll turn on the electric stove to bake the zuchinni that Leticia made for me. I´m happy.
See you friends. It is chilly but sunny. The rain has stopped.

I'm glad you're feeling better and hope the soreness goes away soon. I KNOW it's nice being able to eat things that make you happy!

I am aware that at my age the only things that can make me happy are some delicious food. And that I cannot eat some any longer. When I had the divertuculitis I thought I would not be able to eat anything at all in the rest of my life. Is was terrible. Everything tasted bitter.
Now I´m eating again. Not everything, but little by little.

@marguicha I understand. I had diverticulitis, too, but mine wasn't as bad as yours. I still eat anything I want.

I am taking powerful pain pills for my knees. And when I had diverticulitis, the doctor gave me some wonderful drops for the belly pain.

Anita came today and could even change the sheets and wash them. They were dry in the evening.
