This Chinese bride has her wedding dress with a train that runs into 3 miles long creating Guiness Book of World Records I frind it meaningless. What was its purpose and what will they do with that train once the wedding is over. Questions just flood my mind Why was it at all allowed Is there no limit to how far one can go? Image credit:

What?

@allknowing It's a great idea You could make hundreds and thousands of lingerie items with it whilst it is parked in the train station

Seems a bit meaningless to me as well but nothing surprises me these days about what motivates people to do stuff. I would wonder what they would do with it after the wedding as well

And where will they keep it until they decide what to do with it.

I suppose that there are all kinds of people. And that some people want to break records. Over 60 years ago, when my husband asked me to marry him I giggled and asked him if he´d give me a diamond ring. He answered whether I preferred a ring or a house. We had several good houses along the years with no mortgages that were build by him according to the size or our family. I can´t imagine what´s in a veil!!

A 3-mile-long wedding dress train? That’s not a wedding, that can be a traffic hazard!

Cut up the train and make veils to cover over baby carriages so that the babies are not attacked by bugs,

She obviously has more money than sense but I guess she also holds a world record which might be important to her. Pretty stupid really. I guess the train would make good curtains.

Well said If she sells that train may be to a hotel she could earn some dough.

There seems to be less and less meaning to things people will do for notoriety. Craziness all around.

Just to break the record she has gone past being ridiculous

That's definitely crazy but some people want attention? Maybe they will take the train apart and reuse it for some other brides who have more sense?

Hundreds of brides could use it for their dresses.

Perhaps the aim was to get a place in the Guinness Book.

Ridiculous that anyone would want a placfe there and at what expense?

I suppose her goal was to get into the Guiness Book of World Records. It does seem silly. Perhaps they can cut it down and use it for other things.

Perhaps she's done everything (else) she knows and now that she doesn't have to try to make him hers, she's saying she thinks she's going to love him for a long, long time.

To me the only point in a train that long is to break the record. I can't see it for any other reason. I never had veil at all when I got married or when we renewed our vows.
