Last Birthday of the Month

Happy Thursday Everyone! silly me believing that today was going to be nice. I dressed according to the forecast and am sorry I didn't put on warmer clothes. I expected temperatures for short sleeves and sunshine. I got drizzling rain and temperatures that require long sleeves. I'm beginning to think the sun is a myth.
Today is my middle daughters birthday and I already spoke to her and sent along my wishes. The day she was born was almost hurricane weather and I remember driving to the hospital in almost flooding waters. Thankfully we didn't have to go far. Now all these years later and the weather is still gloomy.
Nothing much going on here today. That's fine with me as this month has been super busy.

Being a mom is my biggest blessing but being an Aunt is a blessing too. I had two aunts in my life that I was very close to and I can't picture my life without them. One aunt is still alive and we talk on the phone at least every two weeks.

@AmbiePam she's doing very good now but she had a few months of recovery and in home rehab. Her daughter is a physical therapist so she was able to do all her rehab in the comfort of her own home which I think speeded up her recovery. My uncle was so stressed for awhile and is finally able to relax now.

It's chilly and storming in my part of the US this morning... We're only supposed to reach 65F by late this afternoon. I'm happy enough to spend the day in bed sleeping. (I've done dishes and driven to the pharmacy and picked up meds this morning. I'm done for the day now.

It's not great when we dress for the wrong weather.
It's been a common occurrence for me of late as I rely on the Weather App too much and let's just say this last couple of weeks it has been wrong more than it has been right.
I got my Jim Beam delivered yesterday.
Now that's exciting, isn't it?
