This afternoon it is still cool and windy outside. The sun is out, but not quite my kind of weather to be out in it. I am resting with my foot elevated now as my ankle is throbbing and swollen. My husband put some rub on it. So that will conclude my afternoon, sitting here, online and watching a very rich documentary about the Underground Railroad. I love historic docs like this. Besides, it will highlight the final place that many slaves made their way to, which was North Buxton, Ontario. I grew up not far from that settlement. Their history, and story of how they came to this area, and how the land was acquired and split up is fascinating. My husband and I went shopping for another child from the playgroup who is having a little birthday party on Monday afternoon. I found some cute little goodies for her, a small little backpack and some outdoor things, and then spied something for myself. I picked up a nice white and blue striped sundress a couple of months ago. I have been seeking a very light cover up ever since, but every scarf type of cover up was too expensive, I got a good deal on the dress you see. I did find a lovely light cover, it is white with little blue flowers on it, and is nice and sheer. My husband liked it. I liked it. When we went to pay for it she told me that it was on sale and I paid 7 or 8 dollars less for it, as of then I decided that I loved it.
