When I was a kid one of my favorite western shows was "The Big Valley" . One of the regular stars was Richard Long that portrayed a lawyer Jarrod Barkley.
Tonight I was watching "The Big Valley" mostly featuring Jarrod in this episode on MeTV channel on the friendlytv streaming network. That show was very good and the next show coming on was another western called, " Lawman" starring John Russell and Peter Brown.
Wow! In this episode was a man that was a lawyer played by Richard Long! LOL!

Dad loved westerns when I was growing up... We could only watch shows he was interested in watching. The Big Valley was one of those and anything with John Wayne got shown as often as dad could find them.

My hubby watched the westerns. I didn't care for them.

We all loved the westerns. My family went to the rodeo one year because all the actors from Gunsmoke were there. They sure enjoyed it. The MeTV channel is a favorite still. I like the cartoons and that guy who does the review of the grade b movies on Saturday nights. What a hoot.

When i was young, I was exposed to the western shows from the black and white era but I often fell asleep watching it as they were been broadcasted in the late nights.

I remember Richard Long from The Big Valley and later, a sitcom called Nanny and the Professor. He was in a show before I was born called Bourbon Street Beat, which I took an interest in because Van Williams
was also in that.
