People who still make handwritten to-do lists usually share these 7 personality traits according to an article I read online. I still make handwritten to-do lists so I clicked on it to see how closely I matched that say said.
First, they said people who make handwritten lists of things to do have an inclination towards organization. That's true for me. I keep everything pretty organized.
Then they said the act of writing it down created strong memory retention. That's true for me too since as I write it down it cements it in my brain.
Third the article mentioned writing out a list on paper provides a physical connection to the tasks. It’s a tactile experience. It makes it real.
Attention to detail is a key component for people who make handwritten to-do lists. Some are more complex than others.
The author said being able to make a list and cross things off or mark them off gives us a sense of accomplishment and is a simple pleasure to reward ourselves.
Further, writing down a written to-do list is a commitment.
The article I read also mentioned mindfulness as part of the traits of making to-do lists, but I still don't understand what mindfulness is.
Do, do you make handwritten to-do lists? Electronic computer task lists?

I am the "LIst-Meister". I make lists for the cousins to do; and I like when I can cross some things off the list. I am very detail oriented. I made copious lists when we used to travel. I also make lists of calls that I need to make, etc.

Oh yes I do! There’s something soothing about writing that you don’t get with putting it down electronically. And, of course, I’ve been scatter-brained all my life, so if I don’t write it down I’ll forget it. (I frequently forget it by the time I find a pen!

I tend to do hand-written "to do" lists. It helps me stay organized and I do agree that it feels good to be able to cross of things as I accomplish them.

I agree with all of the above. I make lists of things that I need to buy .....do .....take on holiday ....Although i usually forget the shopping list or forget to write something on it if it's not to hand.

Yes , I make handwritten to do lists in my notebook for me to not forget what I need to do online. I'm a little forgetful person sometimes.
