It did not rain today, but things are definitely muddy.
I bit the bullet and bought a new laptop. I went about $t50 over my intended budget.I also went back to a lower dose of a medicine I took in the past, and took a nap, and met up with Jane.
I bit the bullet and got a new laptop with Windows 11 on it. It is taking me a while to get all my "stuff" put on it. Oh, and my hands go places they should not, leading to vanished typing,
Perhaps I will also get the desktop fixed, if possible. For now this is going to be great.
Even if it is a little bit time consuming so far.
I was using voice to text on my phone yesterday when I was here and I liked that as well.
I am going to check out some of tthe things you have posted and then I will go to bed.

I hope you end up liking your new laptop. It took me a while to get used to Win11 after using Win10 for so many years. (At least Microsoft isn't planning on dropping updates for Win11 anytime soon.)
Pretty started taking Metformin today. I hope her doctor keeps an eye on her since I had trouble with it.
We had storms most of the day. It only stopped long enough for us to go shopping and then started storming before we made it home. We still have 100% humidity here. Pretty turned the air on right after we got home this morning. It was too muggy for us to fall asleep easily.
Hope you have a good night.

I started back on Metformin yesterday. As I told my doctor, I had no problems after the first two weeks on the lower dose. I saw on one website that it interacts with 377 medicines and supplements. I saw an antibiotic I am commonly given.

@GardenGerty Pretty checked to make sure she wasn't taking anything that the Metformin would interreact with so I hope everything will go okay for her.
Good luck with it.

Some of it was hard to me. Like saying my punctuation. It kind of blows my mind.

@GardenGerty I think I'd find that hard too but I'd want it correct.

I wanted one for when I travel. I do a lot of "stuff" online. I wish my desktop would be a simple fix, though.

It is nice to have new, but I did not want to spend that money right now.

I hope you enjoy your new laptop. I thought this might be my last laptop at my age; but it's getting very sluggish. My desktop is VERY old; but it's OK for what I use it for.

I would not mind getting my desktop fixed and updated. I hope the laptop lasts a good long time.
