Oh dear, thank goodness I never took the cover off of the bike

Oh dear Thank goodness that I never took them over off of the bike. One minute blue skies and sunshine Five minutes later this. A downpour. We only intended going up to my garage to get the Triumph out but the rain stopped me in my tracks. Would have been drenched before I got to the garage and worse, Yvonne would have got wet too. Oh well never mind Need to find something else to do until the rains goes away and the roads dry up a bit.

We had that kind of weather yesterday and the downpour happened when I was stepping out from the pharmacy. I knew it was not worth washing my hair in the morning.

@Ineeddentures Leave alone a heavy downpour, we are not even having a single drop of rain for last more than six days.Nobody knows when it will rain

Well me too And the downpour has continued today. Our towns big day- and agricultural show which will be ruined by the rain. People won't pay a lot of money to wander around a muddy field on a Saturday afternoon It usually goes on into the evening, but already the traffic suggests many have already left.

It did indeed Eva and we got out to some shops and McDonald's yay for us. And it stayed dry all the way home also. So it turned out to be not too bad a day

That's a pretty heavy downpour and guess you were stuck inside until the rain let up. Hope you still got the opportunity to take the bike for a ride at some point.

We are lucky today. We did eventually get out and got to the shops in another town 10 miles away and now we are in another town having a cup of tea in a McDonalds.

@TheHorse We are still 20 miles from home in McDonalds so I hope it doesn't start raining again on the way home A swim before work sounds like a thing that I would enjoy if I could find a pool close y that was actually not closed down because of council spending cuts

That certainly looks like heavy rain. We've put a cover on our motor-home but I think it takes a bit more effort than putting a cover on your bike.

@Ineeddentures We're just hoping two people will be enough. It's pretty high and somehow you have to oik it over the air-conditioning unit, etc.

@JudyEv Can you not build a big car port Be easier than putting a cover on it

It would take a lot more effort Judy. Probably a two person job

That's a heavy downpour. I am glad you were able to avoid it. I hope you can do what you intended after the rain goes away.

It stopped after a while and we did indeed get out which is good as it has turned into quite a nice day now
