Can you guess what I had for breakfast yesterday morning?

Yes, I "went to town" yesterday morning at Safeway. I bought an onion, some fresh cheese, a pepper, and even an avocado. I already had eggs from Trader Joe's. Can you guess what I had for breakfast? Actually I don't know exactly what you'd call it, because I did not whip up the eggs and add a bit of milk for fluffiness. I just treated the eggs as if I were making.fried eggs, put the other ingredients on top, and then flipped one side over once the cheese had melted. I cooked it in butter, not olive oil, and added some salt. It was really good. Have you made anything fancy for breakfast recently?

Yes, but I put the avocado slices on last.

@TheHorse I looked at your picture. I would have caramelized the onions though. But I´ll try your recipe some time.

No. But sounds like an oomlet only not folded over.

@kaylachan This morning I browned the onions before I added the other ingredients. It was good as well.

Actually, I did fold it over. But I did not combine the yolk and white part.

Yep. I enjoyed it. I may do something similar this morning. Maybe I'll brown the onions first, then scramble up an egg on top, add the cheese, and then the avocado and pepper. We'll see how creative I'm feeling.

Day before yesterday, I scrambled two eggs with diced ham, diced onions, garlic, pepper and salt. It was delicious. I always scramble eggs in a bit of butter.

@DaddyEvil Something I do with my Stroganoff is to add onions at various stages of the cooking process. Some onions wind up sauteed. Some wind up kind of crispy. It is my best recipe to date. Ms Horse and I "invented" it in college.

I followed @marguicha's instructions this morning and sauteed the onions in butter and salt before adding the other ingredients.

Nothing fancy later but we've bought crumpets to have tomorrow when we're away.

So you had a Ultra Innovated Cheesy Butter Egg BreakFast dish. So did you gulp it down with Coffee as well? By the way, do you try any Indian style breakfast sometimes or if that is something that is not available in your vicinity? Do you ever try English style Butter Toast along with Tea?

Nope. Can't cook or bake anymore. I would love to make a quiche. Those were always good.
