I have Sunday supper started.
it is a signal that the weekend is approaching it's end. I had a nice 3-day weekend. Lots of time to do things as well as relax.
Today we just chilled together and went for a nice walk.
Supper will be steak and shrimp with baby red potatoes and vegetables kabobs. I have a cherry pie that we picked up along our walk, and I also picked up some Roma tomatoes so that I can make bruschetta. We will have a garden salad as well.
What are you planning on making for supper tonight?

Ah well your weekend is nearly over
Spare a thought for me
My weekend is not over until Tuesday morning but fear not, Wednesday night and the new weekend begins so don't feel too sorry for me.
I hear Canada calling me over for supper.
Nah only joking as we have already eaten.
I had a fancy sandwich and some cocktail sausages both from the Sainsbury Taste the Difference range and some of Yvonne's cake.
Happy days

Oh Yvonne prepared a delicious supper for you tonight.
Yes back to work tomorrow.
I have to go downtown to work in the office once a month, and tomorrow is that day.
It is Employee Appreciation Week, so they will have lots of 'games' and prizes and nice extra long paid lunch put on by a catering company.

@Ineeddentures I would do without the longer fancy lunch to work at home.
I don't like going into the office to work, as everything is set up so well here at home, and I don't have to dress up.

I am always amazed at how different places prepare it differently also.
I just brushed a little extra virgin olive oil on the thin crusty bread, then I lightly toasted them and topped them with the chopped tomatoes and parsley, I put s tiny bit of shredded mozzarella cheese on them to try to hold everything in place, but I used it sparingly.

Thanks.
I cannot count how many times that he reminded me of just how blessed we are.
One of his former co-workers that he worked with yesterday, has to call his wife every other hour. She is not well. She has nursing care come in twice a week. She will never get better either, and it is taking its toll on him.

@AmbiePam Yes, so do I, and it really struck a chord in him.
He told me that of the 2 workers that he was close with, one is going through this while the other is a young Dad still bringing babies into the world. He calls that worker 'the kid' and he loves it when he calls him that.

Well, I did have burgers planned, but I guess that will be tomorrow. I went out with some people I know here to a buffet.
