A firefighter who is employed by the Fort Myers Fire Department was with his daughter taking a tour of the fire station on Friday June 6 when they saw a kitten who was underneath the tiller truck.
The kitten was given a warm bath after the firefighter and his daughter decided to adopt the kitten and name him "Tilly" which is the nickname for "Tiller."
It is unusual that a kitten gets adopted by a firefighter who enters a fire station to get away from either heat or cold weather.

Glad they adopted that kitten before it hurt itself or got trapped somewhere

It was good for the kitten that it was given a home by the caring fireman, and not just kicked out of the fire station.
