Meet Batman and Robin. We recently adopted these two stray kitty. Please if there's any tips don't hesitate to share with me. They have been dewormed and also got flea treatment so far. I feed them cooked chicken, beef and fish without seasoning. I was wondering if I could add any veggies to their diet but I don't know if they can eat veggies. I'm guessing they must be around 2 and half months old or close to three months by now. Are you also a cat parent? Do you remember the day you met your kitty? I'm sharing a picture of them especially hoping for my best friend Amber to see it. Hopefully it shows up.

Hey! I haven't seen you in a long time! I hope you and your hubby are doing well! Welcome back to myLot! I can answer the vegetable question for you. Cats can eat some veggies but only around 10% of their daily intake and veggies should be more a treat than a meal for them. (Make sure your kitties never get onions, garlic, leeks or other members of the allium families. Don't let them eat pickled veggies or canned veggies that have a lot of salt in them. Don't let them eat tomatoes, either.) Your kitties might like carrots, green beans, peas, broccoli, spinach, cucumber, zucchini, pumpkin, asparagus, and sweet potatoes. Remember not to give them very much of these veggies at one time, they're treats, not meals. I had cats when I was growing up but have become allergic to any furbabies as I've gotten older. They're very cute kitties. I'm sure you'll do a good job raising your kitties.

@DaddyEvil That's a good idea. Me being forgetful choose a long cut this time. I'm glad to hear that you two are doing well. That's good as everthing is so expensive some cash to pay off bills is nice. Notice how when you are about to receive your salary you see a problem that need to be fixed? But that's good to receive help from the government. Hopefully you get that soon. It would help a lot. Good thing Pretty is able to get paid while being home. Bless her kind soul for taking care of her Dad. It's somewhat cold and Batman and Robin went out. Luckily it stopped raining for time being so they should be fine.

@BabeSays Thank you. Pretty pays all the bills now but getting disability sure would help, too. We'd like to take some short trips to the lake and swim and to visit friends in other cities. Yes, that happens a lot. Something happens just when you get paid so the whole paycheck has to pay for something... We just got our car worked on and got our washing machine fixed. Batman and Robin will be back when they get tired of wandering around, killing birds or lizards or they get cold and wet. (You did get them fixed so you don't have to worry about them having babies, right?)

@DaddyEvil Yes indeed. I feel like the world we live in just wants us to survive. Like work and return those money into groceries and bills. The little money that is left out isn't enough for anything except for two or three take outs to please yourself. We just keep repeat doing the same thing over again. At some points it becomes tiring and depressing. Lucky us God sent Batman and Robin in our life and we feel motivated again to do things for them. My husband wished we have a car so whenever we would go out we could bring them along with us. They just had lunch late as they return home and were sleeping. Now it's time for them to play and chase each other.

That's very kind of you too adopt these cats. They are very cute. Even if I had cats before, but I was not sure whether we should give them vegetables. I heard in Denmark they can feed them with potatoes And in Thailand cats enjoy eating durian When we had cats, we also fed them cat food, fish and rice and that's their main food.

So do we. We feed them cat food mixed with a little rice. I don't feed them food I am not sure if safe for them. The other day my husband was making fries and asked if he them and I scold him with a big NO. I know oily food are badly for them.

Cats are far easier to take care of than dogs You can give them anything and they will eat that which pleases them.

@ARIES1973 Sounds cool. Nice name for a ginger cat. And Loki reminds me if Thor.

Thanks Judy, they are so adorable and very polite except for Robin is who a bit naughty and always bug Batman...It seems like Batman enjoys it but sometimes it's just too much and I have to seperate them until Robin cools down a bit. Robin is full of energy.

Those are very lovely kittens. I think cats can eat vegetables but there will be lots of advice on websites.

They look adorable. I am not a cat parent, although we did foster one for a while a couple of years ago. It was lost and we kept it til the owner was found.
