Reading through this news I was shocked that over crowding in trains is still a way with Indians
The recent news about accidents due to over crowded train is not something that can be understood People hanging on doors and climbing on the roof is what one sees.
Despite all the claims about increased number of trains this continues
You can read about it here

I know my Indian little brother says the trains are always over-crowded when he's going to work or coming home again. And he rides the train two hours a day both ways. I always worry about him.

Yes in some routes, trains are overcrowded in the peak hours(morning).

@Dreamerby I'm not sure if my brother is where they don't hang off the trains or what but he says he often reads or visits on his way to work and home again. I often talk with him on WhatsApp while he's on a train.

@DaddyEvil yeah it depends on the station he is boarding the train from.

@allknowing - We had some immigrants climbing on the top of the trains and (of course) they were electrocuted.

More accidents happened die to this over crowded in trains not only in sleeper classes but also in ac coaches people use to rush in empty coaches.
Specially in Kumb mela where thousands of people come from different places I have seen many videos in train stations breaking window glass of ac coach pelting stones one should never travel on such occasion.
